The 2nd Halifax Illingworth Moor Company held their annual P&F night on 13th May. Guests included Mr Colin Walker (Captain of 12th Hx Boys' Brigade), Rev Paul Welch and Mrs Andrea Thorpe (Captain of our Girls' Brigade).
The evening included an inspection, drill, display items and the presentation of badges and special awards.
Awards were as follows:-
Anchorboys. Team Award to the Porsche Team. Church Attendance Award to Nye Berry and Ashton Beck and Best Boy Award to Thomas Pearson and Jack Evans.

The Boys' and Girls' Brigades held their annual Enrolment Service on 7th November 2010. They decided to hold the service for the first time in an evening and this proved to be an excellent move. The Church was packed with Brigade members, parents and friends. Andrew Jacobs led the service, using "belonging" as his theme. Rev Paul Welch led the Brigades through their "Promises" for the coming year.
After the service there were fireworks, and a bonfire supper.

The Girls' Brigade P&F evening was held on Wednesday 25th June 2008 with guests Rev Brian Brown, Mr Andy Kaye, Miss Diane Wade, Mrs Winifred Carr and Mrs Dorothy Moore.
