Rev Paul Welch joined us in September as Minister for Boothtown, Mount Zion, Illingworth and Southowram. Paul has a wife Lynn, who is a teacher and two daughters, Hannah and Bethany.

Halifax Circuit is his second appointment, having been in the Leeds North East Circuit for the past 7 years. In LNE he was responsible for three churches, one in the Suburbs, one in a Village and another on a council estate. So a very varied experience!

One of his great passions is playing and watching football. He also plays golf and a little bit of squash and likes watching most sports that have a round ball involved.
