Hi, my name is Wyn Markham and I have been compiling quizzes for our Church since 1997. It all began when we made the decision to replace and update our existing old premises and it seemed that it could be one way among many others of raising some money for the project. Currently over £10,000 has been raised and, even though our new building is completed, I have continued producing the quizzes as they still seem popular and the money raised is always useful when running a busy Community Church.
Eight quizzes per year are now produced, allowing approximately 6 weeks for each one. I now have over 70 cryptic quizzes on file, each based on a particular subject ranging from "Authors & Poets" through to "Yorkshire Towns & Villages".

I have a loyal following of people who like to test their brain power and I get quiz sheets returned from various parts of the country and also from abroad. They think it is good value for 50p.
Each quiz can be customised to any particular organisation and other groups have used them to raise funds in their locality. Please email me on wynandjan@yahoo.co.uk if you are interested in having sheets for your group or just a copy for yourself.
